St. John New Brunswick

And now we were headed to Canadian ports of call.
We did a tour of St John, which, of coarse, included the famous reversing falls. We visited The Martello Tower, the city market and O'Leary's Pub. You could have a beer, but that is not what I crave at 10 in the morning.
Then we headed to the little fishing village of St. Martin.

St. John is on the Bay of Fundy and where it meets the St. John River This is where the Reversing Falls Rapids is. It is not so impressive when the tide is coming in, except that it is flowing the wrong direction. But when e tide is going out, it becomes a raging river. I saw it both ways and it is unbelievable.

MartelloTower-built to guard the harbour's shipping approaches during the War of 1812.

The city market- the roof is built like the hull of a boat.

Hockey is so popular in Canada- the back of a bus
