Here, all this time I thought we just had one flicker coming to the backyard. Well, yesterday I saw 3. And then today I saw 4 sitting in the dead birch tree behind us. I know they just look like blobs in my picture, but I did get the binoculars out and have a good look. So, I think I have a family visiting my backyard, which thrills me to death. Still have the little downy woodpecker coming too.

We have crows ;{
They have scared all the small singing birds away. We used to have tiny birds nesting in the cedar trees and in the bird house. Now nothing :(
